About Teacher Training Seminars

Training is one of the most important aspects of Early Childhood Education and is often the most overlooked.
Virginia state law requires at least eight hours of training per year. We are here to provide services for quality ECE training for you and your staff. We offer workshops that enrich and help establish high quality child care and preschool programs plus support the needs of the teachers.

Teacher Training Seminars is owned and operated by Trena Willoughby. Each person on her staff is fully educated, trained and qualified to perform their particular task. Trena has over twenty years experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. She currently is Program Leader at the Bob and Jean Russ Child Development Center on Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia.
Trena also holds the following degrees and certificates:
- Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education , Hampton University, Hampton ,VA
- Associate in Applied Science, Early Childhood Ed. Dev., Thomas Nelson Community College, Hampton, VA
- Career Studies Program Certificate - Child Development

She has received the following awards:
